From time to time I do art commissions for personal use. Need a portrait of your D&D character, or a profile picture?
Not sure how to describe what you want? I have a form that can help you figure out the basics.
This information is for non-commercial art only; if you wish to purchase art for commercial use please specify your request.
The prices for artwork that will be used commercially will differ.
Remember to read my terms of service before you commission me.
If you have any questions you can reach out to me via social media or email.

terms of service

Please read these terms carefully before you commission me. The terms exist to protect you as the customer and me as the artist.
By commissioning me you accept the following terms.

general

» The product you are purchasing is the digital file of the finished work, not a physical replication of the art.
» I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason. I am not obliged to explicitly state the reason for my refusal.
» I am willing to draw subjects like original characters, fan art, real people with some exceptions, animals and monsters, artistic nudity, suggestive content, horror themes and gore.
» I am not willing to draw porn, nudity or suggestive content of minors, hateful content, or anything else I'm personally not comfortable with.
» If you are unsure about the subject and want to check if it is okay, you can ask me about it by emailing me or by messaging me on social media before sending a full commission inquiry.
» Clients under the age of 18 are forbidden from commissioning.

PROCESS

» I will give you a time estimate in the beginning of the commission. The time it takes to finish a commission varies from 1 week to 3 months, depending on complexity, deadlines and personal life. If your commission has a deadline it is important that you include the date in the commission inquiry.
» Once the payment has been sent and confirmed, I will start the commission.
» During the process you will receive previews (WIPs) of the piece. The number of WIPs depends on the size of the commission and the amount of fixes needed.
» I am always willing to talk about the process of the commission and happy to help to build the commission the way you want it!
» If any delays occur during the process I will inform you as soon as possible.

COPYRIGHT & USAGE

» As the artist I withhold every right to the artwork and any WIP images of the work. The rights include:
Displaying the product on my portfolio / social media
Using the artwork to promote myself
» As the client your rights include:
Displaying the art on social media / character galleries, provided you credit me in conjunction with the art.
Producing merchandise of any kind provided you are using it only for personal use and not for profit.
Making minor changes such as adding text or resizing or cropping the image.
» The commissioned artwork is for your personal use only, and not to be used commercially.
» Do not claim the artwork as yours.
» I do not claim ownership of any intellectual property in work done such as original characters, creatures, and designs, unless stated otherwise.
» I will not use the artwork commissioned by clients depicting original characters for merchandise without the client’s permission.
» You are not permitted under any circumstances to use any part of the artwork or the WIPs for any blockchain technology, including non fungible tokens (NFTs). Use of artwork for any advertising or profits associated with blockchains, non fungible tokens or cryptocurrency is strictly prohibited.
» Usage of my artwork for AI (artificial intelligence) tools; platforms or programs, ML (machine learning) tools, platforms or programs is strictly prohibited.

PAYMENT

» The currency accepted is EUR (€).
» Do not send me money before we have agreed on the price and I have sent you the Invoice.
» Payment will be conducted upfront using PayPal Invoice. Bank transfers are possible if the client's residence is within Finland.
» With bigger pieces the payment can be split. Work starts after the first part of the payment has been received. The finished commission will be sent to the client once the price of the commission has been paid in full.
» Major changes during the commission such as the subject of the commission, different set of clothing or a new pose after the previous one has already been approved once by the client are not free. Prices for these changes depend on their complexity and can be negotiated.
» Errors caused by me, such as missing parts clearly stated and/or shown in the references, will be fixed for free.

CANCELLATION & REFUND

» I reserve the right to terminate the commission at any time and for any reason.
