commission types
My regular art style!
Lined commissions are a faster and cheaper alternative to paintings at the expense of full rendering.
Detailed illustrations in a smooth painterly style, varying from portraits to action scenes and landscapes.
Illustrations inspired by the heavily textured style of the Dragon Age: Inquisition tarot cards.
Small portraits to use as a profile picture, DND token, on character profiles, et cetera.
terms of service
Please read these terms carefully before you commission me! The terms exist to protect you as a client and me as the artist.
By commissioning me you accept the following terms:
general
» The final product is a digital file of the finished artwork, not a physical replication of the art.» The default canvas size for all commissions, except for icons and tarot cards, is approximately A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm) and 300 DPI. The client may request custom canvas dimensions. I will also offer a watermarked, smaller variant of the finished artwork that is more suitable for online use free of charge.» I am willing to draw: original characters, fan art, animals, monsters, furries, nudity, suggestive content and horror themes. If the client is unsure if their idea fits these categories, they're encouraged to ask me about it.» I will not draw: explicit nsfw, illegal content, hateful content, or anything else I'm personally not comfortable with.» I reserve the right to refuse or cancel the commission at any time if the client's behavior is excessively and/or continuously inappropriate or if I do not feel comfortable with the commisson subject.
PROCESS
» After accepting a commission I will send an invoice and give the client an estimate for a turnaround. Turnaround varies from a week to months, depending on commission type, complexity, deadline and personal life. For example, the average turnaround for a lined full body commission is 2-3 weeks, but not guaranteed. Please be patient with me!» I will start working once the full payment or the first part of a payment plan has been sent. The finished artwork will be delivered to the client only after the invoice has been paid in full.» Each commission type has multiple phases, some more than others: thumbnail/rough sketch, sketch, lines, colors, rendering, and polishing. I will send previews (WIPs) to the client and do revisions between each phase.» If any delays occur on my part I will inform the client as soon as possible and provide a new turnaround.» The finished artwork will be delivered via email or through Dropbox. Files on Dropbox will be kept online for approximately a month before being deleted. It is the client's responsibility to download the file on their own device in time.» All commissioned artwork will be archived. In case the artwork's file is lost, the client may ask for a new copy.
REVISIONS
» I will do revisions between each phase.» The first 3 revisions are free; each revision after that will cause additional fees of 10€ minimum.» After a sketch has already been approved once by the client major changes will cause additional fees. Major changes are primarily but not limited to: the subject of the commission, new detailed background, different set of clothing or a different pose. The cost depends on how big the change is and the amount of work done so far.» Once the commission is completed I will not do revisions, unless it's a minor adjustment; for example a wrong lip hue.
COPYRIGHT & USAGE
THE ARTIST» I retain the copyright of the commissioned artwork.» I reserve the right to use, publish and record the artwork and its process.» I do not claim ownership of any intellectual property in work done such as original characters, creatures, and designs, unless stated otherwise.
THE CLIENT» The commissioned artwork is for personal use only, and not to be used commercially.» The client is allowed to display the commissioned artwork on their social media accounts and character galleries (such as posts, icons, banners)» Producing physical merchandise (such as posters or stickers) of the commissioned artwork is allowed provided it is only for personal use and not for profit.» The client does not have the right to remove, edit, or otherwise alter my signature or other pieces of the artwork.» The client may ask to stay anonymous if I publish the commisioned artwork online.» The client is not permitted under any circumstances to use the finished artwork or WIPs for AI (artificial intelligence) tools; platforms or programs, ML (machine learning) tools, platforms or programs. Using the finished artwork or WIPs for blockchain technology, including non fungible tokens also known as NFTs, for advertising or profits associated with blockchains, non fungible tokens or cryptocurrency is also strictly prohibited. Use of artwork for any advertising or profits associated with these is not allowed.
PAYMENT & FEES
» The currency accepted is EUR (€).» Payment will be conducted upfront using PayPal Invoice, or through VGen if the commission is ordered on the site.» Payment plans are available for commissions that cost +100€.» If the client wants the commission to be completed in a short timeframe, I will have to charge a rush fee. The fee can range anywhere from 50% to 100% of the original cost depending on how tight the deadline is. If I'm not comfortable with the deadline I will have to decline the commission.» Major changes are not free after a sketch has already been approved once by the client. Major changes are, for example: the subject of the commission, new detailed background, different set of clothing or a different pose. The cost depends on how big the change is and the amount of work done so far.
CANCELLATION & REFUND
» I do not offer refunds once I've started working.» If I need to cancel the commission for any reason, it will result in partial refund based on the work done so far.» If refunding has been agreed on, I will personally transfer the amount back to you as soon as possible.» PayPal chargebacks are prohibited. If a PayPal chargeback is requested in any scenario, all evidence about the commission including conversations and this TOS will be given to PayPal to clear the case, and the client will be blacklisted.
Thank you for reading the terms of sercive!
